On Tuesday, November 10, 2009, Telework Exchange and HP hosted "The Great Commuter Stress Out" outdoor event at the Woodrow Wilson Plaza, inviting commuters to beat the heck out of their commutes.
Held at the Woodrow Wilson Plaza in Washington, D.C., The Great Commuter Stress out encouraged commuters to distress from their commutes while learning more about telework options.
The Great Commuter Stress Out, sponsored by HP, offered attendees complimentary massages, whacks at the piņata, free food, and plenty of information on telework.
Attendees visited the HP booth to learn more about telework technologies available to teleworkers.
Attendees 'beat the heck out of their commutes' and a few lucky ones won prizes.
Congressman Connolly (D-VA) encouraged workers to telework and even took a swing at the car-shaped piņata.
